The beggining
Claus Peter Hoffmann,today a 46 year old german national travelled the world while on vacation and there the story begins
In 2008 tired from travelling through Uyuni for 4 consecutive days he arrived in the city of Sucre and took advantage of the citys hospitality and took a break from the arduos travel, here he decided to enroll in some spanish classes.On the second day of his stay , Claus met his future wife Roset Subieta.Claus had planned to travel across Peru to Machu Picchu and also to Colombia, something which he has yet to do as his plans changed drastically since he met Roset, the love of his life.
Claus returned to Germany 3 months later, and subsequently 2 months later back to Sucre to carry out plans he had made, together with Roset
In 2010 Roset and Claus began living together, Claus dedicated to selling computers imported from USA,later Caus and Roset opened the "Sucre School of spanish" in 2011 with great effort and dedication they achieved huge sucess employing more than 30 professionals
Finally in 2012 Roset and Claus took the risk of buying the house where today stands kultur Cafe Berlin.Initially it operated as a hostel and restaurant, the same guests helped advise Claus ways in which to improve the quality of the restaurant which continues to be very sucessful to this day.The bar venture was born in similar fashion becoming the best nightclub in the city of Sucre today.
Claus and Roset together with their three children Keity,Nicolas and Sebastien feel they have a very important achievement at the family level aswell as being very proud to be able to give employment to more than 50 people who today are part of the Berlin Family
